The Northwest Harris County Municipal Utility District 5 (NWHCMUD5) provides water service to Wildwood at Oakcrest. Sometimes residents experience a brownish color and a funny smell to their water. This could be related to a variety of factors including NWHCMUD5 flushing their lines. The only way for NWHCMUD5 to address the situation is for each homeowner to contact NWHCMUD5, provide their home address, and have NWHCMUD5 investigate. Residents can contact NWHCMUD5 direct 281-290-6500 or 281-290-6503, toll free at 855-290-MDS1 or visit mdswater.com to report issues.

Owners access the Splash Pad using a code that owners whose accounts are in good standing can obtain from Inframark. There is a timer on the system that allows it to be activated each day from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm only. To operate the system: press the silver button (located on the fence next to the gate on the inside of the splash pad area) and HOLD for 3 SECONDS and then release. BE PATIENT – it takes a few seconds for the water to start flowing! PLEASE DO NOT KEEP PUSHING ON THE BUTTON. Once activated, the Splash Pad runs for 16 minutes and then automatically shuts off. It can be restarted for additional 16-minute intervals.
Owners whose accounts are in good standing use their fobs to access the pool (gate near clubhouse entrance). Owners without fobs can fill out a form (available via TownSquare) and make payment ($50 per fob) at the Inframark office or mail the form to 2002 W Grand Parkway N, Suite 100, Katy, TX 77449. Inframark will mail the fobs to the owner.

Homeowners who wish to stain their unstained wooden fences must first submit an architectural request committee application. The approved stain color is Baker's Gray-Away Wood Seal Special Blend part number SB200520. Homeowners who are restoring their stained fences to the previously approved color do not need to file an application. Some homeowners have used ProStain of Texas, 832-296-0987 or Jay's Painting Services, 832-853-2328.
For iron fencing, the approved iron fence material is Ameristar Montage ATF Welded Ornamental Steel Majestic 3R EXT 5’T 8’W, Black. Many residents have noted that refrigerators, disposals, or dishwashers were causing their circuit breakers to trip. In most cases, there was nothing wrong with any of these appliances. Eaton 20-amp replacement breakers are available at Elliot Electric Supply in Tomball (see link), Amazon.com (see link), or Lowes.com (see link).
When repainting a home using its original colors, an Architectural Review Committee request is not required. Each homeowner's Purchase Price and Payment Addendum document from the homebuilder specifies all of the options for the home, including garage door, trim, and siding paint colors. The homebuilders used Sherwin-Williams SWxxxx paints where SW is the professional contractor code. Homeowners can obtain consumer paint using the color name such as Foothills, Portico, or New Ebony. The homebuilder document should include the SW paint number and the paint name. The interior paint colors (e.g., Repose Gray Flat, Extra White Flat, Extra White Semigloss) for walls, ceilings, and trim should also be in the document. For homeowners without the document, by bringing a sample to the paint store (Tomball location), Sherwin-Williams can do a color match.
As part of obtaining Architectural Review Committee approval for constructing home additions or backyard sheds, new shingles must match the existing shingles of the home. Each homeowner's Purchase Price and Payment Addendum document from the homebuilder specifies all of the options for the home, including shingles. Homeowners have reported clogged dishwashers with water standing in the bottom of their dishwasher. Most dishwashers have a filter that can be removed and cleaned to remedy the problem. If that does not correct the issue, EPW Plumbing Services is owned by homeowners in our community.
